ABSTRACTS

Abstracts
• Abstract submission for the conference has closed and notification emails sent out to submitters. We originally planned to have 40+ platform presentations and 300+ poster presentations. These will now be accommodated in the virtual meeting as follows:

Platform presenters will present a powerpoint with narration (8 mins maximum duration with a maximum of 5 slides)
• These will be grouped into sessions as per the original Bournemouth programme and made available on the conference app
• Delegates will be encouraged to view the abstracts and ask questions via session moderators (who will act as virtual meeting chairs)
• Moderators will oversee all interactions from the launch of the app on 7 September until the Virtual Meeting Day on 16 October

Poster presenters will present a powerpoint with narration (3 mins maximum duration with a maximum of 3 slides)
• These will be grouped by subject matter into a series of video presentations available via the conference app
• Delegates will be encouraged to view the abstracts and ask questions via moderators, or virtual poster guides
• Moderators will oversee all interactions from the launch of the app on 7 September until the Virtual Meeting Day on 16 October

Shortly after the Virtual Meeting Day, the top presenters will be invited to give a live presentation during a Thursday evening session
• Thursday 5 November ‘Battle of the Platforms’ – top 5 platforms, live
• Thursday 12 November ‘Battle of the Posters’ – top 5 posters, live

Good luck, presenters!

All abstracts as submitted will be available on the conference app. If you have ordered a printed copy of the abstract book this will be sent to you prior to the first evening session of the conference.
