As usual we will be welcoming representatives from the pharmaceutical and medical industries to our annual meeting. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet our exhibitors face-to-face to discuss their products and individual cases they may have, stay informed about the latest industry trends and remain one step ahead of a constantly changing market.
The ABN welcome support from symposia sponsors who contribute and enrich our programme, often with lively debate and unique perspective on current issues.
The silent symposia area returns once again, giving sponsors a brandable area to base themselves in for the day of hire and allocated times in the coffee breaks to deliver short presentations. The audience listens in on headphones while the general flow of the crowds and conversations taking place in the exhibition hall can all occur with no interruptions.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
If you have a product or innovation that is particularly relevant to a sub-specialty of neurology, you may want to consider sponsorship of a breakfast SIG meeting. These breakfast sessions attract between 25-170 people, depending on the topic and have historically included specialties such as MS, epilepsy, cognitive disorders, brain injury and myology.
Over the past few years, there has been a move towards a more sustainable approach to conference activities. This brings several new marketing opportunities for our supporters.
• New delegate programme
A scaled down version of the traditional printed programme makes an appearance in 2020. This new mini programme doubles up as a delegate badge and is worn around the neck. All sponsor logos and information will continue to be printed and adverts can be placed in the mini programme in in previous years.
• Conference app
The conference app has developed and expanded in function over the past few years and in 2020 we hope to increase the sponsor engagement further with rolling banner advertising. Place an advert which will display for 5 seconds on a loop and link to the website or a PDF of your choice. Delegates can swipe through adverts or click on them for further information.
• Water Coolers
Support the ABN in our aim to reduce single use plastics and sponsor the water coolers at the meeting. These will be positioned throughout our area at the BIC and delegates are encouraged to either bring their own sports bottle, or buy one from the registration desk.
